 The New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC) is pleased to
announce that applications are currently available for a newly constructed
development in Manhattan. This new housing opportunity was financed by HDC as
part of Mayor Bloomberg's affordable housing initiative, The New Housing
Marketplace: Creating Housing for the Next Generation.
The development is located at 132 West 112th Street in the prime area of
Manhattan, two blocks from Central Park, near Columbia Univeristy and its
shopping and resturants. This 40-unit development is funded through HDC's New
Housing Opportunities Program (New HOP). Intial rents range from $975 per month
for studios up to $1,700 for two-bedroom apartments. Units are reserved for
households with an annual income ranging from $33,429 to $157,000. (Incomes vary
within these bounds depending on apartment size and family size).

All requests must include a self-addressed stamped business-size envelope and
must be received by August 19, 2005.
Completed applications must be returned by regular mail to the Post
Office Box indicated on the application and must be recieved by August 26,
2005.
Eligibility is based on income, family composition, as well as other factors.
Tenants will be selected through a lottery system
