The New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC) announces that applications are now available for 100 newly constructed affordable housing rental apartments at 3880 Orloff Avenue, located in the Bronx. This housing opportunity was financed by HDC as part of Mayor Bloomberg's housing initiative The New Housing Marketplace: Creating Housing for the Next Generation.

For the studio apartments, the monthly rent is $800 and the minimum annual household income is $32,000. For the one-bedroom apartments, the minimum monthly rent is $1,000 and the minimum annual household income is $40,000. For the two-bedroom apartments the minimum monthly rent is $1,300 and the minimum annual household income is $52,000. For the three-bedroom apartments the monthly rent is $1,500 and the minimum annual household income is $60,000.

Completed applications must be postmarked no later than February 15, 2005. Applicants will be required to meet income and other selection criteria. Applicants will be selected through a lottery system.
