DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING PRESERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT (HPD)

  • New Housing Marketplace: Creating Housing for the Next Generation: 2004-2013

  • Report describes the largest municipal affordable housing effort in the nation’s history, expanding the Mayor’s original five-year New Housing Marketplace Plan, to a 10-year plan worth $7.5 billion, for creating and preserving 165,000 units of affordable housing and 500,000 affordable homes for New Yorkers by 2013.

  • Progress Report 2005-New Housing Marketplace

  • The second report on the implementation of the Mayor’s housing plan focuses on several key strategies including: in rem stock disposition, increasing the affordable housing pipeline, and identifying new resources to finance and preserve additional housing.

  • American Housing Survey (AHS)
