New Housing Marketplace: Creating Housing for the Next Generation: 2004-2013
Report describes the largest municipal affordable housing effort in the nation’s history, expanding the Mayor’s original five-year New Housing Marketplace Plan, to a 10-year plan worth $7.5 billion, for creating and preserving 165,000 units of affordable housing and 500,000 affordable homes for New Yorkers by 2013.
Progress Report 2005-New Housing Marketplace
The second report on the implementation of the Mayor’s housing plan focuses on several key strategies including: in rem stock disposition, increasing the affordable housing pipeline, and identifying new resources to finance and preserve additional housing.
New York City Housing Vacancy Survey (HVS)
The 2002 HVS describes the state of housing in New York City including information on building conditions, apartment vacancy rate and inventory of residential units. This report is required every three years by City and State rent regulation laws.
